Why You’ll Love This Limoncello Prosecco

Drinking my first limoncello spritz years ago while perched high atop the Amalfi Coast of Italy was an experience I’ll never forget. From Ravello to Positano, I must have sampled limoncello in every charm-oozing town along the coast. But for a fun twist on that recipe, I’ve added blueberries and thyme to this version for slightly fancier entertaining. Here’s everything you’ll love about it:

  • It’s the easiest cocktail to serve at a party. No complicated ingredients or mixing tools are needed here. Just your favorite pitcher, a few cocktail glasses, and simple ingredients.
  • It’s perfect for dinner parties. The blueberries and thyme add a hint of flavor while also looking a bit more posh. Perfect for date night or dinner parties!

Limoncello Prosecco Ingredients

  • Prosecco: My favorite prosecco is from La Marca, but choose any of your favorites that are dry or brut.
  • Limoncello: There are several great limoncello brands, just make sure to grab one from Italy!
  • Ice: Make sure you’ve got ice cubes in the freezer to add to each glass. You can also use this silicone ice cube tray for fancy ice cubes.
  • Garnishes: Fresh blueberries, thyme, and lemon slices will give your cocktail the oomph it needs.

How To Make Limoncello Prosecco

Grab your favorite pitcher and pour the whole bottle of prosecco and 1 cup of limoncello into it. Stir it all together and it’s ready to be served!

To serve, drop a handful of blueberries in a glass, top it with ice cubes, and pour the limoncello prosecco up to the brim. For a finishing touch, a fresh thyme sprig and lemon slices add an elegant touch. I mean, who doesn’t love sipping on a beautiful-looking cocktail?

Can I Make This Ahead of Time?

Absolutely! You can prep this in the morning and store it in the fridge until ready to serve later in the day. And while this is best enjoyed the day of, you can store any leftovers in the fridge for a few extra days.
